We work with a range of partners to give homes a huge range of tools to work with. Here are some of the organisations we are working with.
Virgin Money
Virgin Money are one of our funding partners. Their support helps to ensure that the resources for Care Home Open Week can be provided free to homes that are taking part. Virgin Money are also actively supporting the Cycle Relay with volunteer riders.
Christie & Co
Christie & Co support Care Home Open Week as one of our funding partners. Their team has played an active part in helping to organise the event and has worked hard to promote it across the country, making sure that everyone has the chance to take part.
Civitas Investment Management
Browne Jacobson are powering the Great British Care Cycle Relay through their incredible volunteer effort. As well as riders, their team will be providing the support team for the event alongside organisers Pie Events. Check the Relay registration page if you want to take part.

Autumna
Autumna is actively supporting Care Home Open Week by liaising with Care Associations across the country, making sure that support and information is shared as widely as possible. Autumna has also encouraged care homes to get involved with Care Home Open Week through a newsletter campaign addressing its 5000+ mailing list.
Care Workers’ Charity
You can download the joint NAPA/CWC fundraising pack from the resources section of our website. It’s packed with ideas for how you can run fun fundraising events to support two of the sector’s most important partners.

Partnerships – Care Home Marketing
carehome.co.uk is encouraging its network of homes to sign up for Care Home Open Week and take part. They are reaching out to care seekers too. And they have a page of information on their website.
Cohesion
Cohesion are hosting a series of Supplier Webinars that explain to suppliers how they can support their clients and Care Home Open Week.
Thank You Day
Thank You Day takes place a week after Open Week – on 7th July. It’s the perfect opportunity to encourage your community to reach out and thank carers.
The Care Managers’ Show
At this year’s Care Managers’ Show at the NEC in Birmingham you can take part in the Great British Cycle Relay!
Thanks to the support of the event organisers, we will be installing a ‘static bike’ at the show. You will be able to show your support for the Relay, and for the sector, by joining our ‘virtual cycle relay.’
Silver Sunday
Silver Sunday is back again this year and takes place in October. We are encouraging everyone to take part.
The Care Connector Network
The Care Connector Network is the perfect place for you to share your Open Week activities. It’s the social network for the sector and many care services are already using it to share ideas and talk about their activities.
Month of Community
The Month of Community is a time to come together to celebrate everyone and everything that makes our communities great. There are events, activities and celebrations throughout June, so join in and make a difference where you live!
HC-One
HC-One care homes across Britain are delighted to be welcoming their local communities to join them for Care Home Open Week 2024, with HC-One’s main celebration events taking place during Care Home Open Weekend (28th – 30th June). HC-One’s chosen theme for this year’s Care Home Open Week celebrations will be honoured by ‘dancing together through the decades’.
Music for Dementia
Music for Dementia have produced a fantastic resource pack to encourage people to ‘Give it a Go’, making music. You’ll find the pack on our Resources page and it’s free to download.
NAPA
The National Activity Providers’ Association has helped us to produce a fantastic Summer of Sports pack that is available to download. There’s also a fundraising pack on our Resources page that will fill you with inspirational ideas to fundraise for NAPA and CWC.
National Care Forum
The NCF is doing a fantastic job promoting Care Home Open Week to its members. Encouraging everyone to shine a positive light on the work of the care sector.
Prince’s Trust
Raising the profile of care among young people is a top priority for us. With so many fantastic career opportunities available in the sector, we want to make sure Homes can reach out to young people with ideas and information. The Prince’s Trust has helped us to produce a download pack that is available on our Resources page.
Royal College of Nursing
